[Closed] A Dark Knight and a 'Bard' Talk on a Train
Who: Yukiko and Thancred
What: Catching up and some other discussion.
Where: On a train to Manehattan
When: 1/23, evening
Warnings: Heavensward and Stormblood Spoilers might show up as well Dark Knight Story Spoilers up to level 70. Also Thancred.
There was one thing Yukiko herself realized during these past few years: that being in one place made her go stir crazy. It was kind of strange if she had to look back on her teenage years and her yearning to 'escape' and 'be rescued' came with just being bored and unable to stay still in one place for long now. That was the good thing about traveling in Eorzea: it was just so common for adventurers to float from city to city looking for work and dungeons to explore and find treasure that having one particular place to stay was strange. Yukiko rather enjoyed it. Sure there was a place to hang her hat so to say (ok not really because staying in the castle in Ponyville was very weird) but she made sure to keep in contact with Neph and Cirno just so they don't worry.
And she already did her brooding phase years ago.
The train she was on was heading for Manehattan as most of the ponies were setting down and heading to bed for the evening. She on the other hand wanted to stay up and explore the cars a bit. Maybe see a bit of the scenery go by from the windows. Where she was sitting, the car was empty as the last few ponies went into the sleeping car and she stopped. Her ears twitched and she sighed.
"Can you be a normal person and just say hello? I promise I won't do any hitting."
...she knows you're there, Thancred. You're so fucking busted.
