It's taken her the better part of a month to set up the transportation network, but Amelie finally has her hoops in pretty much every major city of Equestria now. She takes a moment to drop a message over the mirrors before finishing her preparations and stepping through a hoop to the center of town.

"Bonjour! This is Amelie; I was wondering if anyone wanted to join me for a little trip? I'll be going to various places using my portal hoops to sample the local cuisine; if anyone wants to join me I'll be in the center of town for the next half hour before I leave!"

Amelie is very much looking forward to spending an entire day traveling and eating, and that excitement is expressed quite clearly in her body language as she waits for anyone to show up.

"All right thanks for that," said Megumin, stumbling through the hoop and finding a soft couch. She's out like a light seconds later.

[onaroll]

Amelie seals the hoop up behind Megumin.

"She's a good kid."

A pause to think.

"I really hope she checks for Hunter, it'd be a shame if the house burned down."

...wait what.

[horse_nerd]

"Wait, why would the house burn down?" asked Twilight, getting a nervous expression on her face.

"Is there's a problem?" she added.

[onaroll]

"Not a problem, non...it's just that Hunter's Papa was an Arcanine, so she can use Fire-type attacks. If Megumin startles her, she might burst into flames."

[horse_nerd]

"A-ah, so that means a lot of fire. Should we be worried?" asked Twilight.

[onaroll]

"Probably not!"

Amelie is strangely unconcerned.

[horse_nerd]

This is fine or not, Twilight took a bite of her food to quell her nerves.

"I guess if you're all right with it, then I'll be all right too."

[onaroll]

"I'll probably be more concerned in the morning when I'm sober, but for now, lasagna!"

[horse_nerd]

"This is very true." said Twilight, sipping her drink.

Apple giggled as she got into her last piece, a relatively large slice. "This is pretty great though."

[onaroll]

"It is!"

A pause to chew and swallow.

"I'm going to be useless for most of tomorrow just from the sheer mental fatigue, I'm pretty sure."

[cidery]

"We'll all be weary tomorrow," replied Apple comfortingly. "It's the price we pay."

[onaroll]

"For indulging my unmatched hedonism, you mean."

With that statement, Amelie finally finishes the last bite of her lasagna.

"I know that sometimes I tire you out, cherie, but I adore how much you're able to keep up with me."

[cidery]

"I try. Some days it's hard but I do it to see the bright smile on your face."

Twilight giggled. "That's always a good point."

[onaroll]

Amelie considers. Some more fernet?

Some more fernet. It's a digestif, after all.

"I'm done. Twilight, will you be able to make it back to your room if I open the hoop outside the palace, or would you prefer to crash with us?"

[horse_nerd]

"I'm... sure Starlight and Spike can deal if I don't come back home today," said Twilight with a weak smile. "This much food overwhelmed me."

[onaroll]

Amelie nods and looks over at Apple.

"So, are you ready to go?"

[cidery]

"Ready," said Apple, groaning with a deep sigh.

[onaroll]

"Silver Skillet, Bucket List, merci beaucoup for a wonderful meal, let it be known you've crushed two Princesses, a Grand Duchess, and Megumin. We're going home now."

With that, Amelie opens a hoop directly beneath Apple, letting her fall through, and then repeats the process with Twilight before waving goodbye and toppling over sideways into the hoop.

On the other side, the exit hoop she established directly over her bed spits out the trio, Amelie already asleep as soon as she hits the bed.
