(Pssst. Check out the story so far to get an idea for what's happened prior to this point!)

It all happened in a flash. Short earthquakes and aftershocks rocked some of the buildings in Ponyville as a magical explosion wreaked its own brand of havoc across Equestria. Once the dust settled, however, the Ponyville ponies realized that there were some newcomers in their midst. Ones that were definitely not there before the explosion. So where did they come from, and how did they get here? Did the explosion bring them here?

Luckily, the actual damage from the earthquakes was minor, and there were no actual downed buildings, just some that were now slightly cracked and in need of repairs.

The natives slowly closed in on the newcomers, warily eyeing them and wondering what their intentions were. But rather than looking angry or upset, they just looked confused and curious. Why not introduce yourselves to them, and to each other?

The official royal welcome wagon might even show up soon!

"Same to you, Applejack." He was glad to know she remembered him - meaning this was the same Applejack he remembered, too. "Yeah, it sounds about the same. Just without the omnipotent force forcing everyone here. ... At least I'm pretty sure that it's not that."

...Holy Halone, that was a large pegasus. And horned, as well - Haurchefant heard those were rarities! He approached, before bowing - like the natives. If Celestia was taking notice of this pale pink pony, she might notice a flicker of... magic.

"Thank you for the warm welcome!" he said, first of all. "Am I to expect us to be seeking a way back to our realm?"

...because really, Haurchefant. Doesn't think he can do that.

"I suppose it's still a bit of a bitter pear to swallow," joked Pear weakly as she sighed.

"I'll sit you and your sisters and brother down for this later, but the story of your father and I getting together is a rough one. It's romantic, but it's a story which has a lot of sadness behind it. Your grandfather is estranged right now, due to our relationship."

Pear bit her lip. "Your grandfather is a Pear."

"Huh? You popped here too...?" But that didn't make any sense. Applejack was from Equestria, so how...

Well, it didn't take a lot of thought to figure out why. And she still seemed like the same Applejack she knew, so despite a moment's hesitation, she smiled a small smile back. "O-Okay. So then... you're from another Equestria? You're not the human Applejack, are you?" Best to be sure, at least.

"Nope! I think we'll just have to mingle that's all!" Exclaimed Pinkie with a laugh. "There's so many new folks here!"

"Depending on the people;" Yukiko nods as she explains. "Some travel between worlds quite often and some places see it more often than not. This...might be one of those worlds that have not."

Handing Applejack a muffin, she took another for herself and chomped down on it. "MMMM Juicy!"

"Aw really? You could come move in with Pinkie and me! We've got a big enough bed for three ponies. That way, you'll have more of a kitchen to live with!"

Applejack remembered well, and she wasn't all that fond of the thought of going back there.

"I'll keep my eyes and ears open for now. But anything that ripped us out of our homes and brought us here has got to be mighty. Hopefully it ain't so scary."

Skyfire cringed a little at the fearful reaction he'd caused and nearly wilted. He should have known better, things had been going far too well. Better to go sit outside of town again for a while...

"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to scare you." She's obviously terrified of him, and he doubted there was anything he would be able to say that would calm her down when she was as stressed as she seemed.

"I'll... just leave now..." Better to back off and hope that helps her feel more secure than to push his presence on her, but he'll still have to get up and move away without panicking her further... That, could be a problem.

If you make puns like that vocally, Sunset, she's going to become very fond of you very quickly. After she has a gigglefit in a manner totally unbefitting a princess.

The blue and green pony couldn't help smiling gently, and motioned with a hoof for Sunset to rise. "Nephenee, Nephenee Knight. No need for formality, hun. What's your name?" She was fairly certain this was a pony she'd never encountered before.

Of all the things...

She gaped. Her jaw might've come close to hitting the ground.

"What? You mean...we're half-Pear? But the Pears and the Apples hate each other! Have done for longer than any of us can remember."

[appletastic]

"Yeah, another Equestria. Reckon this is my third one, actually. And no, I"m not a...human. That's what Princess Twilight turned into when she went to chase Sunset Shimmer through the portal, isn't it?"

She tapped a hoof against her head. That was a lot to take in.

Applejack chewed thoughtfully. It was indeed delicious. But...

"I'll think about it, okay? I just don't know how it's gonna be with two of y'all and me."

Where's the castle?

I'm sure that was a few meters to the left... maybe it's my imagination.

[So there's a Starlight Glimmer going into Twilight's castle home and finding it... barren. Like, not lived in. It looked down right COLD.]

Haystacks, what happened here? It looks like no one's moved in yet! Twilight? SPIKE? HELLOOOOOOOO! Anyone here? It's Starlight! Starlight Glimmer? YO HOOOOOOOO!

Okay, get a grip. Twilight's missing, Spike's not around, there's a big smoking explosion -- MEGUMIN EXPLOSIONS SKYFIRE -- SWEET CRACKERS ON A KIBBLE TOAST!

Breathe. Breaaaathe.

... I need a drink, this is going to be a baaaad run I know it.

Sunset rose, crossing her front hooves with the tiniest of smiles.

"Thank you. I'm Sunset Shimmer...uh, a former Equestrian returned through all this mess, I guess. And I'm guessing the fowl play's distressing your friend too."

She smiled gently. For all the strangeness of the scene, it was...cute. And she still had hope of trying to befriend her, even though any Equestrian royalty would soon know about her crimes. She didn't yet, though---and that was a good sign.

"Not all of us," said Pear Butter, blushing. "Years ago, when your father and I met, we were small, children. We never stopped loving each other until we wed, against your family's wishes, and mine."

Pear blinked back tears. "Your father, Bright Mac and I, Pear Butter, married in secret. At least, until our parents found out. I stayed with your father, and your grandfather moved to Vanhoover."

[Here they are again, back in the room where they first met. Sunset is here looking for any notes that Twilight might have left behind, turning up nothing...but she knows that face. She's sympathetic, but not surprised---she'd had a very similar reaction in this room about an hour ago.]

I know, Starlight. Everything's turned upside down here! But we're working on it.

"It'll be a Super Cousin Adventure Time! C'mon, where's your sense of fun?" Ribbed Pinkie Pie in between loud obnoxious chews.

There was a small Billy and a big dragon. This was likely not a safe approach. But still he chose to do it, hopeful upon seeing an old friend.

"Are you all right, Skyfire? I'm sure it's still more disorienting for you..."

This is bad. This is bad, bad, bad! Twilight's missing, we're in another Equestria, we're looking at complete catastrophic meltdown if the other YOU beyond THIS portal, ain't that a weird statement, doesn't manage to send a message! Imagine HER meltdown!

[Star star please, you're melting down for the three of them. No wonder you're Twilight's student: you melt down easier than she does.]

I need to consult books. But there's not enough BOOKS HERE. They're still moving in, there's not enough things here!

"Ah, I mean more the... involuntary nature of this travel." He sighs "I was already stranded on one world not my own, but that was at least my own fault. I can see no possible way that I could have caused myself to travel here..."

He'd finally managed to be fairly comfortable with being stuck on Earth, it was... home. He'd likely never get back to Cybertron, that was something he'd comes to terms with, getting stranded again though... Well, at least he seemed to be somewhat more accepted here. Skyfire was trying to look on the bright side at least.

Wings and a horn and weapons, oh my!

Nephenee had to think for a moment before she responded. That...sounded more like Kalosian than French that she'd heard others use, though the similarities were striking. Not that she was any sort of linguist, but in her limited experience, that seemed to be the case? It seemed to be an accent thing.

And poor Amélie was about to find out how bad Neph's Kalosian accent was.

"Bonjour, je m’appelle Nephenee!" There was a slight pause as she makes sure the rest is correct, then continued, "Ravie de vous rencontrer." All in a country accent like warm apple pie that sounded nothing like Kalosian or French in the slightest and had no nasal. It might have been fairly obvious that it wasn't her second or even third language.

At this point it was a small Billy and a confused dragon, because he just can't place the small blue unicorn that's approached him with such familiarity. Skyfire's confusion shows, but at the same time he's got such a feeling of deja vu.

"I... Do I know you?" He sniffs at Billy trying to figure out just where he knows him from. It might be a little disheartening that Skyfire doesn't remember Billy, but he's not dismissing the idea either... There's something tickling at the back of his mind saying he knows this unicorn... Somehow...

"Y-Yeah, none of the trips were chosen by me. All I've done was just adapt to the situation and make the best of it." And as she looks around at all the native ponies kind of gawking.

"And I think these folks sadly have no knowledge to get us out. So I guess for now, we just figure out a place to stay and go from there."

But there's something off about this. Yukiko takes in the sight and the sound of the unicorn's voice and looking at his cutie mark, it's almost haunting. After everything...he's here and breathing. However, she knew there had to be much more.

"Can I ask...what you remember before coming here?"
