Where: Smack dab in the middle of Ponyville. And around Ponyville. And maybe a little outside Ponyville too.

It all happened in a flash. Short earthquakes and aftershocks rocked some of the buildings in Ponyville as a magical explosion wreaked its own brand of havoc across Equestria. Once the dust settled, however, the Ponyville ponies realized that there were some newcomers in their midst. Ones that were definitely not there before the explosion. So where did they come from, and how did they get here? Did the explosion bring them here?

Luckily, the actual damage from the earthquakes was minor, and there were no actual downed buildings, just some that were now slightly cracked and in need of repairs.

The natives slowly closed in on the newcomers, warily eyeing them and wondering what their intentions were. But rather than looking angry or upset, they just looked confused and curious. Why not introduce yourselves to them, and to each other?

The official royal welcome wagon might even show up soon!

The last thing Haurchefant knew, before appearing, was that more chaos was to spread in his realm. Oh, and two Ascian were dead, destroyed by his dear Warriors of Light. He'd clapped from afar, invisibly! It was a splendid show, taking down such corruptness - even if they'd have more to deal with.

But now... he was in another body? Maybe there'd been something going wrong, but... oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. There were horses everywhere. Not just horses, but winged ones and horned ones and--!!

So, uh. Don't mind the off-white unicorn just staring, eyes wide - and grinning, like some form of creepy voyeur - finally speaking up. "--Can you understand my speech?"

"Yes, I can," replied Apple, having noticed his gaze. He seemed all right, nothing dangerous was pricking at her senses but he seemed like a kid in a candy store.

"Are you all right?"

[triceratrots]

"Again? These interludes will never end, will they?"

That was about all Billy had to say on the subject. He was quite used to chaos in his life, between monster attacks, space adventures, and a previous round in Ponyville, but his life kept upping the ante.

He kept his distance from the damaged structures, awkwardly picking up his hoof to wave. And try not to trip over a---whoa. He stumbled right in front of someone, reaching up to adjust his glasses with a hoof.

"Excuse me. Somewhat inexperienced quadruped coming through?"

"...Only somewhat? Dear friend," haurchefant you aren't even a FRIEND yet, "have you some?"

The last thing Coco remembered, Ponyville was being filled with ponies that got turned into Yogert Zombies amid the chaos of Star Swirl attacking. She had tried to contact the older Tails about what happened to his younger self, but it seemed her last message didn't go through.

Just as when she sat at her home worrying about what's going on, she suddenly finds herself taken away again.

So naturally when Coco finds herself in the middle of Ponyville, she's very confused. There doesn't seem to be any yogert zombies though the looks from the other ponies make her feel slightly unease.

Coco adjusts her hat as she looks around in confusion.

"What in the world?"

What a nice hat! It doesn't distract Haurchefant, however, from the fact it's another of these splendid horses! Well, it does a little - was there ways for them to be crafted? He saw no Spoken.

A curious world.

"I'd have to say it's more what in the worlds, for I'm quite unfamiliar with it - but we both have the same question."

((Ooc: Small heads up, Skyfire here has a memory reboot of any MLJ CR/memories. If he knew them from there he won't remember them, but should eventually if he spends time with them.))

Over on one side of the town it would be pretty hard to miss the large white and red dragon looking dazed as well as confused. Hadn't he just been flying? What happened? Skyfire was also having a bit of difficulty getting his body to cooperate.

With a head that was almost as large as an average pony and being sized appropriately to that, he's big enough that he could be considered a threat... Still, he doesn't make any aggressive moves and looks at his paws then his wings as well as body curiously, without getting up.

"Lets see... It shouldn't be that different to move... The shape is similar enough." He's speaking more to himself, but loud enough that anyone could hear him.

Now, for most Ishgardians, seeing a dragon of any kind would be a cause for concern. But instead - of course - Haurchefant isn't most Ishgardians. So have a Unicorn bounding over, stopping... a safe distance away.

Listen, he's still a little nervous. "What are you to do, once you rise?"

Sunset Shimmer was as startled as many of the other new ponies, but for a somewhat different reason. She didn't come back through the portal! Princess Twilight didn't summon her, and she sure as a sugarcube wasn't prepared to face Princess Celestia today.

But many of her friends from CHS were here, as she'd found. It was her responsibility to look after them and see to it that everypony was safe and comfortable, and she would do that. It would also help to make a good first impression---the other ponies were sure to hear about her past, so she'd have to try to be the very best she could be.

"Hey there everypony. Good to be back, yeah. Hi!"

But to any of her friends, she'd say:

"Hey, girls! We should probably discuss where you're going to sleep."

...oh my gosh they even called each other everybody instead of everyone. Was this... some form of afterlife? Don't mind the unicorn bounding up, before pausing. "You've been to this realm before?"

Haurchefant has to catch himself. Can't... call it a shard, just in case it isn't.

Well. This certainly isn't the Temple! Amelie will just do a quick run down. Okay, she's...still got her Gem, huh. Quick check...hoops are still there! Hm. Glancing around, Amelie trots over to a nearby window and inspects her reflection curiously. Okay, still have tiny pink hearts for pupils, annnnd...she's a pony. Like Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie.

Well. That's unexpected.

Amelie blinks a few times before putting her thoughts into words.

"I think this might be the third strangest thing I've ever woken up as."

Apple in the meantime was quietly inspecting herself as well. Soft white hooves, bouncy mane, horn on her head, she looked fine. Her gem was intact and that's all that mattered.

Getting up she looked around until noticing Amelie there, that fashion sense was familiar to her. "Amelie!" She called out.

Megumin wasn't prone to panic attacks, but she had been in the middle of finding a place to Explosion on. Her hooves were twitchy and she darted her eyes from side to side, clutching her staff in a telekinetic grip.

"Must... Explosion..." murmured Megumin, bumping into people as she went. "Explosion first, food next and then finding out where I am later."

"EXPLOSION?"

Uh, yeah. That sounds totally dangerous, talking unicorn with a staff.

"Hey, don't just blow everyone to smithereens!"

Oh so that's why I'm here! You'd think a massive explosion of weirdness happens in video games.

*GASP* IS THIS IS AN ISEKAI SITUATION!? Wait, am I dead? I don't think I'm dead. Maybe there's something to do with a truck because wait is that Megumin? Oh cheese and crackers, I think I am dead! I KNEW I SHOULDN'T HAVE STEPPED OUT IN FRONT OF THAT TRUCK EVEN THOUGH IT WAS PARKED IN A STREET!

[Have a hyperventilating Pinkie for all about two seconds.]

Okay! Freakout done. Now to find my overblown power up so I can break the rules of this world!

[And Pinkie skips off, humming to herself as she greets people along the way.]

[Skyfire has to pause to just watch the pink pony having a 'small' breakdown, not sure if he should help or not... and then promptly trips over his wing and falls flat on his front. Not for the first time today.]

Oh come on... Walking shouldn't be this hard.

The explosion must have really hit this pony hard, because he was unconcious, lying sprawled out on his side when he arrived.

Thankfully, he was still breathing, and the sound of confused voices all around him woke him up.

"H-huh?" He slowly lifted his head, his eyes trying to adjust to the light... And there are talking horses everywhere. Also, this doesn't look like the library at the Ultimate Academy at all.

"... This has gotta be a dream..."

"It's another world," replied Apple, having a chance to look around after her girlfriend time with Amelie.

"Welcome to Ponyville, or so I've gathered."

Anyone that might know Twilight from the normal world might have a moment of pause when they realize that she has wings, but no horn. Her cutie mark, on the other hand, would make it quite obvious to anyone from her human world that she was, in fact, the human Twilight, and she was actually getting along alright with the whole 'walking on four legs' deal.

She was still wobbly and having issues, but after a few minutes of advice from other native ponies (who were very, very confused) and some of her friends, she had managed to find a method of walking that worked for her.

However, she was still prone to bumping into people, and she'd instantly apologize if she wound up doing so.

"A-Ah, I'm sorry! Are you alright?"

GASP. "Twilight! You're here too!"

Have a huge hug that sounded like a squeeze toy going off, Pinkie danced around with Twilight in her arms. "You're here, you're here, GASP, you must be my overpowered isekai item!"

"Or wait, that'd be too convenient," remarked Pinkie suddenly.

Still sprawled out on the ground is an Earth pony garbed in a red and black outfit, a red cape fastened to her person around her neck. Perched on top of her is a bundle of white fluff with tiny bat wings and a large red dilly-bopper... drinking coffee.

"Do not mind us. She is fine, but she's not waking up. Granted, we just got through saving all of time/space, she deserves it-kupo." The creature said.

"Oh I see," replied Pinkie. "Want a cupcake?"

She offered a cupcake to the pair.

A wild Keldeo appeared!

A very strange looking unicorn with a big sword-like horn, a bushy red mane, and blue and tan fur appeared, looking dazed and confused. He didn't seem to be unaccustomed to four legs, and turned around to take in his surroundings with wide eyes. "What... happened?" he asked out loud. "Wasn't I just studying...? Where am I?"

"As far as I've gathered, it's a place called Ponyville," said Apple, a white and blonde mare with a pretty dress on.

She smiled a little. "Need any help?"

Tails was called to return to Equestria in order to save the world from Calice. He had practically jumped at the chance to do so, especially so he could see his friends and girlfriend again.

However, he finds himself in the middle of town and he's quite confused.

"Oookay. This is something else."

The stares though make him feel uneasy. He's always had issues trusting native ponies due to how they were treated by Hoovesweek/Quarterhouse Quarterly and the rich ponies.

He looks around, hoping to spot a familiar face...

A familiar face is flying around, just checking the place and ponies out. This is Princess Twilight's home.

"What is?" Came a voice from above.

[betweenlightanddark]

"...how many worlds will I have to go to before I get frequent flier miles because this is getting annoying."

That came from a unicorn all decked in red as she shook her body and dusts off her hat. Taking a look at her now hooves, Yukiko sighs and takes a look around.

"If it helps, I'm kind of glad Yua-chan isn't here." The red mage can just picture her friend in the town square screaming FUCK YOUR FRIENDSHIP MAGIC and Yukiko shudders. Stumbling along, trying to get used to walking on all fours again, she goes to find anything from ponies to newspapers to SOMETHING that would explain why she's here. Because she can't depend on the Echo just in case that got nerfed.

"Excuse me," she asks the first pony or creature she sees. "Are you from town? May I ask you a couple questions?"

He might not be the first creature she sees, but Skyfire is likely the largest. It's very hard to miss a huge, white and red dragon walking carefully down a street. He keeps checking signs and seemingly looking for something.

"I'm not... but feel free. I may not be able to answer, but I can try."

[If anything was going to reassure the small icicle winged pegasus filly, the fact she had been here before...or so she hoped. The fact there are scales on her face and neck probably isn't helping her try and figure things out. Nor is the heavy armor and icy axe on her back. It takes her a moment to stand and walk..although she takes to the air instead quickly.

A sigh and a shake of her head later she's wandering about, trying to look confidant on her own.]

Um...Hey. Do you know what's going on?

((OOC- Picture is to show her scales and eyes. Yes- She has the rings in her eyes and the slight bit of green in her mane as well ^^))

The two most striking things about the unicorn she is asking this of are her heart-shaped pupils and the pink diamond embedded in her right foreleg. She waggles one hoof from side to side as she replies.

“Ah...sort of? There was an explosion, and now we are all ponies. I am not sure why this is happening, but in my experience it is best to just roll with this sort of thing.”

Amidst the newcomers was a pony who lay on her side in a sprawling mess of blue furred legs and wings, emerald green hair, and bright blue robes, beside a little greenish-blue chicken. Consciousness came back in bits and pieces, and there was an odd familiarity to this. Was she dreaming? The last thing she'd known, she was either back home for real with her family for a time, or dreaming she was...it was hard to tell nowadays, whether the trips out of Eorzea were an actual thing or just her subconscious sorting things out.

As she finally came to, it occurred to Nephenee that...no, this was real. Those were the brightly colored houses of Ponyville, and those were the pastel ponies of the town.

That felt odd. Not unwelcome, but...odd. How long had they been gone for? Time didn't seem to pass at the same rate between worlds...

What...on earth...? The thoughts were still cloudy as she struggled to sit up, shook the cotton from her brain with a swish of mane. Her horn and circlet uncovered themselves from her hair as she did so, and all the Alicorn could say, as she stood slowly up, was, "...Ah'm...Ah'm back?"

And then the chicken made a noise at her that seemed to be a mixture of a 'cluck' and a 'wark', and she just gave him the most confused look. "Ailette?!"

They made for a very confused pair.

Yep, this was Equestria alright. Chickens and ponies.

There was one pale-pink unicorn who seemed to know the sound of the strange chicken. And he's standing so very close, trying to hold his small smile - looking from the messy maned horse to it - before trying to walk a little closer.

Listen, it's hard to learn to use a new body. The familiar Fortemps shield as his cutie mark, however, seems quite visible. "I wonder if it's ridable?"

...Which one is he talking about? Nobody knows.

"Huh...?"

A yellow pegasus pony shook his head, just waking up from suddenly thumping onto the ground from the magical explosion. ... Well. Last he remembered, he was helping others in a dream... or it felt like a dream. He couldn't remember what had happened - so maybe it was just that, and nothing more.

Still, why were the other ponies staring at him so weird? It's like they'd never seen him before, even though he recognized them. He tried speaking to them, but they all said the same thing - he just appeared along with everyone else, and they'd never had 'offworlder ponies' before.

How strange.

Well, the only other thing to do was go check on the other offworlders and see if they knew anything about what was going on.

"Excuse me, do you know what's going on here?"

[ponymechanic]

Oh hey other self.

The younger Tails was lost in his thoughts when he was surprised by that. He turns around and sees who it is.

"Oh hey other me. I can't say I know what's going on either. Last I checked, we were all called back to Equestria yesterday to save the world from Calice."

Oh dear. Looks like this Tails is farther ahead of him for once.

All these new ponies appearing on the day that Fluttershy had decided to go to the Ponyville square... she found herself quickly ducking back and watching them appear one by one. Some appeared in groups. Some even seemed to know each other. She didn't understand what happened, or even what that explosion was. Maybe she needed to go find Twilight, maybe she had the answer.

Unfortunately, her attempts to escape the area proved futile, as even turning around or trying to go another direction, she bumped right into somepony else.

"O-Oh! I'm so sorry, I'm sorry--"

Well, she made it to the edge of town at least... but considering that's where Skyfire had been hanging out in order not to cause too much chaos while he tried to figure out what to do...

Fluttershy had bumped right into his front leg, and he turned his head to look at her a little surprised. "Don't worry about it... Do you need me to move?" He was kind of blocking one of the roads, but he'd sat here since it seemed to cause the least trouble for the locals while he figured out what was going on.

"Yay! I'm a pony, I'm a pony~!" One of the new arrivals, a very pink unicorn with rather regal-looking hair was bounding and bouncing around both the native ponies and offworlders alike, seeming pleased with suddenly being something else.

"I don't know why I'm a pony, but I'm a pony! And there's all these other ponies, and everyone looks so cute!"

It's possible to mistake her for Pinkie Pie, even though with the hairstyle and her cutie mark (three hearts in the shape of a Triforce... if anyone knows what that is here) it would be rather obvious that she's not her up close. But she's also going to poke everyone else and ask how it feels to be a pony.

The form was new, but that voice and that hair were very familiar... Jean felt like he'd be foolish for asking, but something told him he should try anyway. "Priya? Is that you?"

The welcome wagon is officially here!

After a good half hour of mingling and meetings between the offworlder ponies and some of the natives, somepony had finally arrived to greet them.

Any who were used to how Equestria was would not be surprised to see one Princess Celestia arrive before them, but it seemed she was certainly surprised to see so many unfamiliar faces in such a large crowd. She took a moment to compose herself before continuing. After all, she already knew what had caused the explosion, and another troubling thing that she did not need to announce, to avoid worrying the natives.

"Well, well. I can say that I, at least, am rather surprised to see so many new faces here. Welcome to Equestria. You may be from a different time or a different place, but all are welcome here regardless. If you're unfamiliar with how things work here, I am more than happy to answer any questions you have. Do not fret - we will find a place for you to stay while we look into the matter of what caused that explosion."

Even though she let slip the fact that she was more than aware that the offworlder ponies may, in fact, actually be from other worlds, she seemed rather in control of the situation, and the native ponies began dispersing (after bowing before her respectfully) to give her and the offworlders some space.

By this point, Rantaro's at least got the whole walking-on-four-legs thing down, so here's a strange pegasus with no cutie mark slowly but steadily trotting up to the regal looking... What is that? A pegi-corn? He kind of wished Korekiyo was here right now.

"Excuse me, I'm really lost. What is this place, and why are we here?"

He's pretty sure this isn't going to be a Killing Game with ponies, but he has to be 100% positive on the matter.

[How weird, was it was, to be alive?

The last thing Pear remembered was... well, she'd rather not dwell on that. Instead, she's sitting in shock in the middle of the town, barely vaguely noting the presence of Princess Celestia and how she wasn't...

In any case, she was about to get up towards the Cakes. They had an answer, on how long of a period of time she's missed.]

I must have missed a lot of birthdays...

[Later on, Pear is ambling towards Sweet Apple Acres, scared to death. Just how much time has passed? Ten. Years. TEN YEARS.

Ten years without holding her daughter in her arms, to smell the husky scent of Bright Mac comforting her, to hear the cry of Applebloom and her son doting on her.

Passing by Berry Punch's place, she almost debated on going in just for a moment.]

Skyfire was just loitering around town at this point, unsure of what to do with himself. He'd parked himself in an empty area near one of the roads, just sitting and watching the ponies as they went about the rest of their day. He was still in the way somewhat, but better than earlier where he'd been sitting on a road.

Still, he can't help but notice the upset look on the mare's face when she looked like she was debating going into what Skyfire could only assume was a tavern or bar of some sort. He knows that expression, the face it's on might not be one he knows, but it was far from the first time he's seen it.

"Hey, are you alright?" He might be partly across the street, but at his size, that's not all that far away either.

[appletastic]

"Well that's just perfect as a pickle."

Applejack staggered to her hooves, her gaze quickly narrowing at a nearby rooftop. She was on the ground. Her trusty hat had caught on a nearby roof and was dangling out of reach. Well now, that just wouldn't do, would it?

She immediately set to work on retrieving it. She pushed and rolled nearby boxes and barrels in such a way as to form a staircase, then charged up it, leaping from the tallest box with her teeth bared. She snatched it, just barely, and tumbled into a nearby bale of hay. Nailed it. She rolled out, shaking the straw out of her hair with a sigh.

"Lemme guess. World's in trouble and somepony's gotta save it again?"

"Beats me!" Exclaimed Pinkie Pie from right behind Applejack. "It's probably another world situation where we get some superpowers and then the power of friendship resonates with our geodes which turns into a unicorn rainbow beam of awesome!"

Exploding Sprinkles.

"Or I could just get some baking done. I've already shacked up with my local version. How bout you?"

I'm sure that was a few meters to the left... maybe it's my imagination.

[So there's a Starlight Glimmer going into Twilight's castle home and finding it... barren. Like, not lived in. It looked down right COLD.]

Haystacks, what happened here? It looks like no one's moved in yet! Twilight? SPIKE? HELLOOOOOOOO! Anyone here? It's Starlight! Starlight Glimmer? YO HOOOOOOOO!

Okay, get a grip. Twilight's missing, Spike's not around, there's a big smoking explosion -- MEGUMIN EXPLOSIONS SKYFIRE -- SWEET CRACKERS ON A KIBBLE TOAST!

... I need a drink, this is going to be a baaaad run I know it.

[Here they are again, back in the room where they first met. Sunset is here looking for any notes that Twilight might have left behind, turning up nothing...but she knows that face. She's sympathetic, but not surprised---she'd had a very similar reaction in this room about an hour ago.]

I know, Starlight. Everything's turned upside down here! But we're working on it.

[This...really?

A small purple unicorn opens his eyes, blinking once, twice, before looking around. This is Ponyville. Or...Equestria? He can see ponies walking around. Why?

Instead of freaking out, he simply...sighs, closing his eyes again. Might have eyerolled a bit, there, too.

He'll get up, honest. Just a moment.]

[onaroll]

“Pardonne? Are you alright?”

There’s a pink unicorn looking at you with concern.

[shiningkindness]

"...Oh dear...oh dear, oh dear..."

This is what most ponies would hear as they pass by Fluttershy, who was curled up as she leaned against the wall of a nearby building. Which probably wasn't anything unusual to those who might know Fluttershy, who was probably made anxious by the tremors, the explosion, and all the sudden newcomers flooding the town.

Some closer inspection, though, might show something a bit different about Fluttershy. Though she seemed to be trying to hide behind her mane, the butterfly clip kept her hair tucked back and away from her face. And those able to get close enough might notice the butterflies on her cutie mark weren't the same color.

At the moment, though...someone should probably check to see if she's all right.

Amelie’s fairly certain this is going to be another Grunkle Stan/Pinkie Pie scenario, but that’s still her friend so she has to do something.
