What: What just happened!? You've been transported into the world of ponies, that's what.

Where: Smack dab in the middle of Ponyville. And around Ponyville. And maybe a little outside Ponyville too.

It all happened in a flash. Short earthquakes and aftershocks rocked some of the buildings in Ponyville as a magical explosion wreaked its own brand of havoc across Equestria. Once the dust settled, however, the Ponyville ponies realized that there were some newcomers in their midst. Ones that were definitely not there before the explosion. So where did they come from, and how did they get here? Did the explosion bring them here?

Luckily, the actual damage from the earthquakes was minor, and there were no actual downed buildings, just some that were now slightly cracked and in need of repairs.

The natives slowly closed in on the newcomers, warily eyeing them and wondering what their intentions were. But rather than looking angry or upset, they just looked confused and curious. Why not introduce yourselves to them, and to each other?

The official royal welcome wagon might even show up soon!

Fluttershy, meanwhile, was a bit more confused. "T-Temple? What temple?"

[onaroll]

“That’s the world I met the other Fluttershy in! It was a little seaside town called Waverly Bay. We’d been summoned by the Crystal Heart of the Gem Temple.”

There's a pause as Amelie shows off her right foreleg - there’s a pink diamond embedded in it right above her hoof.

“The Heart gave us these magic gems and asked us to protect the Temple.”

She looked at the gem, blinking in surprise before looking up at Amelie again.

"Oh, so...you had been to another world? A different world? Does...that kind of thing happen a lot?"

Granted, there was probably no "Crystal Heart" here, but they had still been pulled to a different world from their own and brought here.

[onaroll]

Nod nod.

“Pretty much, from what I understand.”

[shiningkindness]

"That's...strange."

And concerning, if random worlds were frequently snatching people from home worlds.

"It is a pretty gem, though."

[onaroll]

“Pink diamonds represent creativity and romance!”

Pause.

“The romance part is probably why my eyes look like this.”

Her pupils are literal pink cartoon hearts.

Blinking, she leaned in a bit closer to look at Amelie's eyes.

"Oh wow...they really are hearts."

She didn't even know eyes could really do that.

"They're really pretty though."

[onaroll]

Welp. That’s the lethal one-two combo of invading her personal space without asking and compliments. Amelie’s turning red under her fur now.

“A-ah! M-merci beacoup!”

[shiningkindness]

Realizing how close she was, she gasped and quickly sat back.

"O-Oh...! I-I'm sorry! Th-That was so rude of me!"

[onaroll]

Amelie's completely off balance from that, so she has even less of a filter than usual.

"I didn't mind at all because you're really cute and I love compliments from cute girls!"

[shiningkindness]

That caused Fluttershy to blush herself, and she ducked her head.

"O-Oh...I-I don't...I don't know about that..."

[onaroll]

“I’m sorry! But you’re really cute! My face just does this around cute girls!”

Still as red as anything, yeah.

[shiningkindness]

Still blushing, she managed a small smile.

"W-Well, um...Th-Thank you. Y-You're...You're pretty cute too."

[onaroll]

“Thank you! I would love to follow up but I have a girlfriend and she came with me! I had a lovely time talking to you and Apple will probably laugh at me over this and I need to run away now! Have a nice day and continue being super cute!!”

A brass hoop appears out of thin air behind Amelie; she runs through it and disappears.

[shiningkindness]

A bit startled, she doesn't have time to react before Amelie disappears.

"...Bye..."
