It all happened in a flash. Short earthquakes and aftershocks rocked some of the buildings in Ponyville as a magical explosion wreaked its own brand of havoc across Equestria. Once the dust settled, however, the Ponyville ponies realized that there were some newcomers in their midst. Ones that were definitely not there before the explosion. So where did they come from, and how did they get here? Did the explosion bring them here?

Luckily, the actual damage from the earthquakes was minor, and there were no actual downed buildings, just some that were now slightly cracked and in need of repairs.

The natives slowly closed in on the newcomers, warily eyeing them and wondering what their intentions were. But rather than looking angry or upset, they just looked confused and curious. Why not introduce yourselves to them, and to each other?

The official royal welcome wagon might even show up soon!

[Skyfire has to pause to just watch the pink pony having a 'small' breakdown, not sure if he should help or not... and then promptly trips over his wing and falls flat on his front. Not for the first time today.]

[He decides to just try and roll with things, because at this point? Skyfire's not entirely sure he's not having some kind of weird hallucination.]

If you're going to make something weird and world breaking, skip the stabilizer and find a way to shrink me instead? I'll get the hang of this sooner or later, but avoiding the collateral damage while doing so would be nice.

Yeah like I don't know if I've been granted an overpowered ability yet. I don't even have my phone in here, and that's the current rage.

Oh riiight, I should probably keep that mum for a bit. Well uh, this is an isekai situation after all, so I should probably look at blending in.

[Out come the cupcakes] Want one?

This world is strange... [He pauses and then winces a little.] Er... No offense meant? I have no idea what you're talking about with any of those.

[Skyfire peers at the cupcakes, tilts his head and looks curious.]

Do you know if I can eat those? ... Or for that matter, what I'm supposed to eat in general? [So it might not be the smartest thing to ask someone who might just a little unhinged about, but she seems friendly and helpful. He doesn't see the harm in asking so long as he investigates it as well.]

I'm sure you can! And no, I don't know what you can eat other than cupcakes.

I think I'm just going to nod and pretend I know what you're talking about.

They do look good... but I'm pretty sure I can't live off of just cupcakes. At my size there wouldn't be any left for anyone else and that's not a nice thing to do. I really do need to find a scholar or library to see if there is anyone that might know.

[She pulls a cake from her hair, and it's big and moist.]

[He's going to chuckle and try both the cupcakes and cake, but it's still not much at his size, even if he does like them.]

Those were great... but not very filling. I know you mean well, but I don't think I could live off of just sweets. If for no other reason that I doubt I could afford to hire someone to make a couple of bakery's worth of sweets for me daily. [Skyfire gives her a soft smile and chuckles.] Granted, I'd be willing to try... but I don't want to make everyone in town mad by eating all of them either.

Well golly gee, you need to eat something! I mean, there's pizza and burgers and stuff like that.

Don't worry so much. I don't need to eat yet, but I want to figure out what I can or can't before I really need to. I wouldn't want to be sick because I ate something I shouldn't.
