Where: Smack dab in the middle of Ponyville. And around Ponyville. And maybe a little outside Ponyville too.

It all happened in a flash. Short earthquakes and aftershocks rocked some of the buildings in Ponyville as a magical explosion wreaked its own brand of havoc across Equestria. Once the dust settled, however, the Ponyville ponies realized that there were some newcomers in their midst. Ones that were definitely not there before the explosion. So where did they come from, and how did they get here? Did the explosion bring them here?

Luckily, the actual damage from the earthquakes was minor, and there were no actual downed buildings, just some that were now slightly cracked and in need of repairs.

The natives slowly closed in on the newcomers, warily eyeing them and wondering what their intentions were. But rather than looking angry or upset, they just looked confused and curious. Why not introduce yourselves to them, and to each other?

The official royal welcome wagon might even show up soon!

"Huh...?"

A yellow pegasus pony shook his head, just waking up from suddenly thumping onto the ground from the magical explosion. ... Well. Last he remembered, he was helping others in a dream... or it felt like a dream. He couldn't remember what had happened - so maybe it was just that, and nothing more.

Still, why were the other ponies staring at him so weird? It's like they'd never seen him before, even though he recognized them. He tried speaking to them, but they all said the same thing - he just appeared along with everyone else, and they'd never had 'offworlder ponies' before.

How strange.

Well, the only other thing to do was go check on the other offworlders and see if they knew anything about what was going on.

"Excuse me, do you know what's going on here?"

[ponymechanic]

Oh hey other self.

The younger Tails was lost in his thoughts when he was surprised by that. He turns around and sees who it is.

"Oh hey other me. I can't say I know what's going on either. Last I checked, we were all called back to Equestria yesterday to save the world from Calice."

Oh dear. Looks like this Tails is farther ahead of him for once.

[twotailedgenius]

"We were? I don't remember that." He scratched his head in thought. "Last thing I remember.... well, I can't really remember. But it was some kind of dream world thing. Everyone was trapped in it."

[ponymechanic]

"I remember that. That was half a year ago," wait a second. "It sounds like I'm ahead of you for once."

Guess he shouldn't mention Reimi 'cause he's pretty sure he hadn't dated her yet.

[twotailedgenius]

"Half a year!?" Good grief, what the hell were times anyway--

"So you don't know if that plan went off smoothly or not? The being called back to battle Calice, I mean."

[ponymechanic]

"No I don't. Judging by the way everyone is looking at us, we're likely not in the other Equestria we were in."

Which raises more questions than answers.

[shyformerassistant]

Coco turns around and is surprised to see her little brother. "Oh good, I'm glad you got here too. I don't know what's going on, but I'm glad there aren't any Yogert Zombies wandering around at least."

She's tempted to give him a hug but she'll wait incase he wants to give her one instead.

[twotailedgenius]

"Yogurt... Zombies." First talking about being brought back to stop Calice when he didn't remember that happening, and now zombies. This is proving to be a very difficult first half hour for him.

"I guess I missed a lot of stuff. The last thing I remember is being in that big dream world and trying to help the other ponies get out. I can't remember what kinds of dreams they were having, I just remember that it was pretty bad."

[shyformerassistant]

"Yeah those undead ponies that Star Swirl the Bearded created in his final years when he was loopy. Who only fed on yogert."

The mention of dream worlds however makes Coco frown and she pushes the front of her hat downward. "...Oh yes that. That was seven months ago."

Even farther in the future than the younger Tails. At least she's not gonna slap him again yet.

"That's... kinda weird. But I guess zombies are zombies in any world."

"So you're further ahead than my double. Did you battle Calice?"

[shyformerassistant]

Is he missing some memories? She's sure he must have faced some of those things.

"Oh he's here?" Well that's good. "No. Something happened and a bunch of ponies were turned into yogert zombies. I tried to contact you through the scrolls to tell you that your younger self got turned into one. I spotted him outside trying to look for some yogert."
