It all happened in a flash. Short earthquakes and aftershocks rocked some of the buildings in Ponyville as a magical explosion wreaked its own brand of havoc across Equestria. Once the dust settled, however, the Ponyville ponies realized that there were some newcomers in their midst. Ones that were definitely not there before the explosion. So where did they come from, and how did they get here? Did the explosion bring them here?

Luckily, the actual damage from the earthquakes was minor, and there were no actual downed buildings, just some that were now slightly cracked and in need of repairs.

The natives slowly closed in on the newcomers, warily eyeing them and wondering what their intentions were. But rather than looking angry or upset, they just looked confused and curious. Why not introduce yourselves to them, and to each other?

The official royal welcome wagon might even show up soon!

"I'm guessing our worlds are a lot different since Team Rocket is still a thing." admitted Serena.

[onaroll]

Nod nod.

“It certainly sounds like it.”

It won’t bother her too much, honestly. Part of the whole ‘friends with Alice’ thing.

"Yeah. So, instead of dwelling on the differences, do you still like Macarons?" asked Serena.

[onaroll]

“Of course! Have you ever had a Supreme Honor pokepuff?”

[never_give_up]

"Oh no I haven't! I usually make them for the road but Supreme Honor pokepuffs aren't something I got to try yet." said Serena, excited. "I'm still perfecting my recipe actually and we spent a lot of time on the road."

[onaroll]

“They’re delicious! I can only get them every so often, though. The base flavor is mocha, then extra dense frosting on top, and then they’re topped with two candy stars and a small cookie.”

...wait, hold on.

“...perfecting your recipe? You’re still allowed to cook?”

[never_give_up]

"Oh my gosh that sounds divine!" Exclaimed Serena happily. "I could probably try to make that."

"Ah yes, actually. I make most of the pokepuffs at home, and then when I was on the road I would make them regularly for all of our Pokemon. The way Pikachu gobbles them up is adorable!"

Look Amelie, your little self isn't a disaster in the kitchen.

[onaroll]

“And you’ve...never set yourself on fire? None of your Pokemon have caused kitchen appliances to explode?”

GIVE HER SOME OF THAT LUCK, PLEASE

"Ah, no, I haven't? Wait, you've got that kind of luck in the kitchen?"

She's just going to pat you now Amelie. You poor girl. Deprived of Pokepuffs whenever you want them.

[onaroll]

“I tried to make a romantic dinner for two and set myself on fire and then knock myself silly with the saute pan. My projection faded and I spent three days inside my Gem before I could reform.”

Well. That’s certainly a thing.

“And then my Slurpuff figured out how to work the microwave and stuck a fork inside it and when it exploded the door shot out and knocked me off my feet and my projection lost cohesion again. That’s when my pupils became like this.”

Oh my.

"That sounds terrible! I'm sorry for that. So if you get injured, you retreat into your gem? And you must have the worst luck with kitchens. I'm sorry to hear that."

The poor girl, Serena could only wonder just how much bad luck she could have dodged in the kitchen by now.

[onaroll]

Nod nod.

“I can use a rice cooker, at least?”

"Well, at least that's something," said Serena with a sigh.

"I could teach you how to cook without exploding stuff? I hope?"

[onaroll]

“I’m not allowed to try without supervision, so you’ll have to ask Apple.”

[never_give_up]

"Your friend?" asked Serena. "Is she here too?"

Assuming she's a she of course.

[onaroll]

“Oui! White unicorn, golden mane, blue eyes. Princess Apple White, daughter of Snow White.”

Pause.

“Yes, as in the fairy tale, roll with it.”

[never_give_up]

"Oh wow... I didn't think that you were friends with someone like that!" Exclaimed Serena, excited.

"A princess too! You simply must introduce us later if that's all right."

[onaroll]

...normally, she’d be up front with Serena on how Apple is her girlfriend, but...well, Serena’s twelve. It’s probably not necessary.

“Of course! I’m sure you’ll get along famously!”

[never_give_up]

Considering everything, probably a good idea. It would make Serena's head spin since she was very hot for Ash right now.

"Oh I can't wait! You must be so excited to be friends with a princess!"

[onaroll]

“Well, I am the Grand Duchess of the Battle Chateau...”

[never_give_up]

"Battle Chateau? I remember that. We didn't really stay long there though," admitted Serena. "We were on the go. What's it like being the Grand Duchess?"

[onaroll]

“Exhausting. They’re all insane.”

There’s a weary look on her face.

[never_give_up]

"That... sounds about right. They seemed very, very passionate about battling. Kind of like Ash's people. But worse." admitted Serena.

[onaroll]

“It’s kind of sad that one of the easiest to deal with is the cultist.”

"I'm sorry a what now?!"
