It all happened in a flash. Short earthquakes and aftershocks rocked some of the buildings in Ponyville as a magical explosion wreaked its own brand of havoc across Equestria. Once the dust settled, however, the Ponyville ponies realized that there were some newcomers in their midst. Ones that were definitely not there before the explosion. So where did they come from, and how did they get here? Did the explosion bring them here?

Luckily, the actual damage from the earthquakes was minor, and there were no actual downed buildings, just some that were now slightly cracked and in need of repairs.

The natives slowly closed in on the newcomers, warily eyeing them and wondering what their intentions were. But rather than looking angry or upset, they just looked confused and curious. Why not introduce yourselves to them, and to each other?

The official royal welcome wagon might even show up soon!

"A traveler! How very amazing!"

He's not lying - Haurchefant really does find that amazing. But how he knows...? Looking a little uncomfortable, Haurchefant shrugs his shoulders. Which does look weird. Listen, he's new to this form.

"...Well, there was one of those siblings who was obsessed with a traveler. But that's no fitting answer, is it?"

...Whoops, he seems to be delaying.

Skyfire just has to shrug a little, trying not to unbalance himself in the process. "I can't say I've ever met a dragon, so I wouldn't know." He can't help but chuckle a little. "I can only be responsible for my actions... and I do very much enjoy reading. When I can find someone willing to either trade for books or scrolls, or allow me to read and transcribe theirs at least."

He frowns a little and sighs. "I think I'm really going to miss not having my library while I'm here..." Not that the information he needs at the moment would be in it, but it would be nice to have all the same.

Huh. This was actually quite nice. Perhaps, if he could befriend them... "I wonder if we can find a new library for you to hoard? I'd not want you left without a hobby."

Skyfire is always happy to make a new friend, and his comment gets a good natured laugh. "First I need to find a place to stay and sort out other things first. I'll settle for borrowing a book or two to find the information I need, and returning it when I'm done."

Shaking his head a little he adds "Besides, I wouldn't want to deprive anyone of their library. I'll earn the funds and put it together myself, it's more rewarding that way."

[onaroll]

Well, that’s even more of an accent then Amelie has, which is kind of an accomplishment. But...hm.

“If I said I was from Vaniville Town, would that mean anything to you?”

[polyturtle]

[This...really?

A small purple unicorn opens his eyes, blinking once, twice, before looking around. This is Ponyville. Or...Equestria? He can see ponies walking around. Why?

Instead of freaking out, he simply...sighs, closing his eyes again. Might have eyerolled a bit, there, too.

He'll get up, honest. Just a moment.]

He seemed nervous a little, Apple was good at reading people. And yet, she nodded. "It's not the first time I've been shapeshifted though, but it certainly is a bit inconvenient without fingers."

"I'm glad you like your form."

[touspourun]

"You're... human? But how? Humans can't turn into Pokemon! It can go the other way around, but... How are you a unicorn now??" Jean looked a little confused now, as the gravity of what was going on really started to sink in for him.

"They can if they have shapeshifting powers, which seem to be turned off at the moment since I can't assume my normal form," said Apple. "But this place seems to make equivalents between people."

HEVEANSWARD SPOILERS WARNING-

Out of the three Warriors of Light around- Cirno was the one who had the least experience with death and didn't understand it still. She stops dead and stares, her eyes watering up and her whole body shaking. Everything about this had her confused...and since she had not found her sisters yet there was no where for the small peagaus with icicle wings and Au Ra scales on her face to hide.

"...Am I dreaming?"'

A Warrior who didn't know what to do was probably a funny sight.

[onaroll]

Shrug.

“It only took me about half an hour to figure out how to slither that time I turned into a naga, so I am fine with walking. However...”

Amelie pauses hesitantly.

“Is my horn supposed to glow? Because that’s not where I usually glow from when I do magic.”

[onaroll]

“Ah! Merci beaucoup! I am very cute, aren’t I?”

BEAMING. Amelie loves compliments!

“This is a very interesting world, is it not?”

[onaroll]

“Pardonne? Are you alright?”

There’s a pink unicorn looking at you with concern.

[polyturtle]

Hm?

[Opening up an eye.]

Yeah, no, I'm ok, just pondering my life again. I tend to do that nowadays.

[He finally gets up - as he does, Ameile may or may not notice the gem on his upper left leg.]

After her long, emotional reunion with her family, Pear was trying to get the lay of the land when she happened on Don.

Looking over she cleared her throat. "Excuse me, are you all right?"

[polyturtle]

[Blink.]

Oh, hi. I'm good, just. This happens a lot to me. I'l getting up.

[And he does roll over, shaking himself off. He a smol. He is also aware of it.]

...This is Ponyville, right?

[onaroll]

Amelie’s own gem is on her lower right leg.

“Maybe they’re better equipped to handle us than Waverly Bay was at first?”

[polyturtle]

I hope so--wait, you--?

[Huh. That sure is a Gem.]

I...yeah, I was in Waverly Bay for a little bit, but I can't seem to place you, miss...?

[onaroll]

“Amelie Felice Amaryllis! I’m the one with the duplication powers and the freestanding portals.”

Pause.

“Also the Klefki.”

Too bad Namine isn’t here.

[polyturtle]

That does sound familiar. But, I don't think we properly met.

I'm Hamato Donatello, with the power of, um...

[Behold, his bandanna is shape-shifting!...it's not as impressive as it sounds.]

I can do a few other things, absorb information and the like. And summon my weapon. But so far, not much else.

[To a full grown mare, he is a smol.]

This is Ponyville. Although it's not my Ponyville, just another one. The one I'm used to is a little less modern.

[onaroll]

“Took me a long time to figure out my powers too! Still, I’m glad there’s three of us here.”

[He frowns. It looks like the Ponyville he remembers. Except.

...Well, he'll ask about that later.]

It looks almost exactly like the Ponyville I remember, though I'm definitely not from around me.

Well, the last time I was in Ponyville was ten years ago. I just recently returned.

[that's as far as she'll mention without dropping hints as she smiled awkwardly.]
