Who: Amelie and whoever wants to come
What: WORLD GOURMET TOUR
Where: Equestria

It's taken her the better part of a month to set up the transportation network, but Amelie finally has her hoops in pretty much every major city of Equestria now. She takes a moment to drop a message over the mirrors before finishing her preparations and stepping through a hoop to the center of town.

"Bonjour! This is Amelie; I was wondering if anyone wanted to join me for a little trip? I'll be going to various places using my portal hoops to sample the local cuisine; if anyone wants to join me I'll be in the center of town for the next half hour before I leave!"

Amelie is very much looking forward to spending an entire day traveling and eating, and that excitement is expressed quite clearly in her body language as she waits for anyone to show up.

"...isn't Applebloom, like...ten?"

"Huh? Of course she is!" Oh wait, that did come out wrong.

"I meant she's not allowed to help make it until she's at least twenty. My bad."

Sheepish sluck.

[onaroll]

"It's fine, it happens all the time."

It really does.

[explosions_are_awesome]

Megumin stifled a grin and went for another ravioli. "I'm gonna finish this plate," she said with a satisfied statement.

[onaroll]

"I'm fine with that."

There's a pause as Amelie opens up a hoop, pulls a watch on a chain out, and checks the time.

"We went through these faster than I expected; we actually have a little extra time before our next stop."

[cidery]

"Probably a good idea to go to a park and rest for a few minutes then," said Apple. "For the sake of our two friends who won't be able to consume as much as we do."

[onaroll]

"That is a good idea. Ah, give me a second..."

Amelie puts the watch back in the hoop, but before she can close it down a head pops through, followed shortly afterwards by the rest of Joyuese's body. Amelie blinks a few times as Joyuese perches on her back.

"...you heard Apple say 'park', didn't you."

Joyuese nods in agreement.

[horse_nerd]

"Well, why not?" said Apple as Megumin and Twilight nodded.

"We can't keep up with you, well, at least not me," replied Twilight. "So we'll need a bit of time to rest."

[onaroll]

"Really?"

Amelie looks thoughtful at that.

"I thought this was a normal amount of energy to put into doing something you love...Apple's always been able to keep up with me at this level, after all."

Wait, by her own admission, this is the first time she's been able to do this kind of gourmet tour in a long time...oh. Ohhh. Annnnd there's all the wine she's been drinking since brunch kicking in.

[explosions_are_awesome]

Looking at one another, Megumin said, "You might need a bit of a rest too, Amelie. You've been going at this pretty hard."

The other two nodded in agreement. "Just a little," said Apple with a hoof-pat.

[onaroll]

Joyuese shows his agreement by placing a wing over her face.

"Yes, Joyuese, I love you too, but I can't see."

After Joyuese settles his wings back into position, Amelie makes her way over to the bartender and starts settling the bill.

The bartender appears to be slightly distracted by the large bird on her back.

[cidery]

"Three against one Amelie," giggled Apple. "You're getting a half hour of rest before we make our next stop."

[onaroll]

"Joyuese, Apple's bullying me~"

In response to this, Joyuese simply pats Amelie's head again. Amelie neither looks nor sounds upset about that, and both Amelie's bird and Amelie's fiancee understand why perfectly well.

[cidery]

"I bully because I care," replied Apple, leaning over to nuzzle Amelie.

[onaroll]

Amelie giggles happily at that.

“Okay! Park time!”

Please follow her to a place where she can open a hoop! Pay no mind to the ponies staring at Joyuese!

[explosions_are_awesome]

Once in the park, Megumin flops on the grass. "Aaaaah," sighed Megumin happily. "This is the life."

"It's picturesque here," said Twilight.

[onaroll]

On Amelie's back, Joyuese shifts from side to side, careful not to let his talons graze her accidentally.

"Oui, oui, go play, ma petit."

As Amelie also lies down in the grass, Joyuese flaps into the air, hovering briefly in place before bursting into flames as he ascends.

[cidery]

Settling down in the grass, Apple stretched out a little with a sigh. "This is a nice spot," said Apple. "I'm sure the others appreciate it."

"Oh I know I do," said Megumin as she stretched out. "Twilight?"

"Definitely enjoying it," said Twilight.

[onaroll]

Amelie rolls around a little until she fetches up against Apple, snuggling into her side.

“Hey there, beautiful. You come here often?”

Amelie’s just buzzed enough that her filter’s down, so cheesy lines like this are to be expected.

[cidery]

"All the time," said Apple, wrapping a foreleg around Amelie. "I like coming here any time of the day."

She's playing along as the pair giggle and watched the pair flirt. "How about you?"

[onaroll]

"There are places I like...but it's because you're there."

Nodding very seriously.

"This little circle, inside your arms...this is all I need. The world where I am loved by you."

[cidery]

"And I you, for I'll never let you go."

The pair was so cute together, Twilight and Megumin grinned and snuck away for a few minutes to let them be adorable to one another.

[onaroll]

Amelie just rests against Apple for a while, humming softly.

“Apple? You wanna be Ruby again sometime soon? Maybe in a couple days?”

[cidery]

"Sure I'm okay with that. It would be fun being one again." said Apple.

"Should we surprise the other ponies with our fusion then?"

[onaroll]

“Yeah! Let’s just start dancing in the middle of the market!”

Overhead, Joyuese is still on fire.

“Connie once said she had fused with Rose Quartz’s son even before she was a Gem. Would it be alright with you if I fused with Megumin?”

Amelie doesn’t talk about Rose Quartz much, but the few times she has in the past it was clear she was someone Amelie respected. If she’s bringing that up now, it’s probably a more serious question than it seems.
