Megumin licked her lips in thought as she said, "The chocolate one. It looks so good, and I remember my first taste of chocolate quite well."

"Sounds good to me, I wouldn't mind some fruit for now." Said Apple, giggling.

Amelie nods, giggling a little herself, as she floats the chocolate crepe over to Megumin. Trotting over to Apple’s side, she places a light kiss on her neck before floating the mascarpone-strawberry crepe in front of them. There’s a slight pause as she opens up another hoop.

“I thought we could enjoy the scenery while we ate this time?”

The view beyond the hoop is of a broad, smoothly flowing river somewhere in a deep forest.

"Oh this is definitely worth the view." Apple picked up a fork and cut a piece up before offering it to Amelie. "Aaaaah~!" She exclaimed.

Megumin blushed and looked away for a moment before busying herself with the food. "Cute..." she remarked.

Yes. Yes they are.

“Ahhh~”

Amelie, naturally, is more than happy to feed and be fed by Apple, although she is deliberately sloppy on her turn, a corner of the crepe touching briefly against the corner of Apple’s mouth.

Naturally, Amelie leans in and kisses her clean.

Apple giggled as Megumin turned a bit red and busied herself with her crepe, thinking about how her friends would act in this situation and realizing it wasn't normal. But that was her friends. This was like... adorable girlfriends and their little sister.

They will, thankfully, keep it in check for exactly that reason. Amelie does have some limits, after all.

But, yes, Amelie did in fact take this to a forest in the middle of nowhere specifically so Megumin can look at nice scenery instead of the two of them, because the whole ‘food and conversation’ thing they had going previously is not happening right now.

And the scenery is really nice too, as Megumin shared her food with a little bird who hopped onto her forearm. It was nice and peaceful, as Apple fed and kissed back Amelie with a giggle.

Eventually, of course, the crepe is gone. Amelie looks both happy and smug at how it was managed.

"And with that bit of light exercise finished, it's time for brunch!"

There's a slight pause as she takes out the camera and snaps a photo of the river before opening another hoop.

"Neigh Orleans, here we come!"

"All right, let's go!" Cheered Megumin, finished with her crepe as she follows the pair behind into Neigh Orleans.

The town looks busy as always, as she whistled. "Nice. Where to?"

"Honey Dazzler's in the Prench Quarter!"

A slight pause.

"I still can't believe there's an even worse name for Kalos than France. And it's a pun, too."

Amelie hates puns.

"Punny," remarked Megumin, getting a giggle from Apple as she followed behind.

"Is it always festive here?" asked Apple. "Or is it a holiday? One of many?"

Amelie takes a second to direct an exaggerated frown at Megumin for that - she really hates puns - before replying to Apple.

"I think a little of both? There's a city a little like this back in my world, but I ended up in Waverly Bay before I was ready to go there. And the weird automatic translation thing that comes with being in another world for some reason means I can't even finish learning English for when we get there."

Megumin stuck her tongue out playfully before listening in.

"That would explain something then," said Apple as Megumin nodded. "I would love to visit again later on."

"We'll make a date of it, then!"

And with that declaration, they have arrived at Honey Dazzler's. It's quite a nice place - a color scheme of white with gold accents suggests understated opulence, and the large windows let in plenty of light, giving it a breezy, open feeling.

"Wow, this is a rich place," said Megumin, nodding appreciately. She was secretly glad this was all paid for on someone else's tab though, the small allowance Starlight gave her was not nearly enough for this.

Amelie nods in agreement before stepping up to the hostess.

"Bonjour! Party of three, the reservation is under Amaryllis?"

The hostess checks a list, nods, and calls over a waiter to escort them to a table. As they're seated, Amelie is already ordering.

"Pitcher of mimosa, the melon salad with honey and mint, and eggs sardou."

The waiter nods, giving them a professional smile, and trots off.

"What's a mimosa?" asked Megumin curiously as she was seated. "It sounds good though."

"It's a drink, one you'll enjoy," said Apple with a fond smile. "This atmosphere is so good right now, everything's perfect."

Amelie nods.

"It is a nice place, isn't it? It's the only stop where I needed to make a reservation."

"Yeah it's rich. Normally I'd never see the inside of a place like this, but then there was Darkness' mansion," said Megumin thoughtfully.

"It smells nice here too," added Apple. "Fragrant."

"Her mansion?"

Amelie looks quite interested in that, honestly.

"Yeah, turns out Darkness is one of the nobles of my land," said Megumin, spinning one of the forks in place as she did so. "She's really not into that kind of lifestyle, but she has a station unlike most of us. And a last name too."

Amelie glances at Apple. Did they...tell Megumin about their titles?

Ah well, no time to think about that now, the mimosas and melon salad are here. As the waiter sets down the pitcher and the serving bowl, there’s a slight pause as he informs them the Eggs Sardou will be just a few minutes more before placing individual bowls before the trio. Amelie thanks him before he trots off again, and she proceeds to float the pitcher in order to pour everyone a drink.

Prooooobably not? It never came up come to think about it...

Megumin licked her lips. "So do I just take my time with this? This is all it is right?" she asked, taking a sip of her mimosa. "Oh!"

"Yes, just pace yourself. There's more food to eat." said Apple with a smile.

Hmm. Ah, that's right.

"It's made with champagne, so don't drink it too fast, alright?"

As she's saying this, Amelie is also in the process of serving up the melon salad. She waits for Megumin to swallow her drink before she continues speaking.

"Also, since I don't think it's come up, I'm actually a Grand Duchess."

Leaving the princess revelation up to Apple.

"Really? Darkness doesn't let me have any alcohol, lest I end up like Aqua," said Megumin, setting her cup down after another controlled sip.

She blinked in surprise. "A Grand Duchess? That's pretty high on the totem pole. What about you Apple?"

"Princess of a Kingdom called Ever After," replied Apple. "But these days, I feel more like a princess for Amelie." She nuzzled her fiancee.

Megumin laughed. "Wow, that's pretty neat."
